Why is diphenoxylate formulated with atropine?

 Why is diphenoxylate formulated with atropine?

A- In order to specifically treat inflammatory diarrhea

B- To reduce abuse of the agent

C- So that it will NOT penetrate the CNS

D- Just to see the reactions on the pts face when THEY figure it out.
